Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TIERHIRES (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. TIERHIRES reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with changes effective upon posting.

2. Description of Service

TIERHIRES provides a trust-scored employment platform that connects candidates with verified employers. The Platform computes trust scores for jobs, employers, and candidates based on verifiable signals. TIERHIRES does not guarantee employment outcomes.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• One account per person. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts will be terminated.

4. Trust Scores

Trust scores are computed algorithmically from available data signals. While we strive for accuracy, trust scores are informational and should not be the sole basis for hiring or application decisions.

• Trust scores are not a guarantee of employer legitimacy or candidate quality.
• Scores may change as new data becomes available or verification statuses expire.
• The scoring methodology may be updated to improve accuracy.
• Trust scores cannot be purchased, manipulated, or artificially inflated.

5. Candidate Responsibilities

• Provide truthful information in your profile and applications.
• Do not apply to jobs with false credentials or misrepresented experience.
• Respect the consent framework: data you share with employers is governed by your consent at application time.

6. Employer Responsibilities

• Post only genuine job openings that you intend to fill.
• Provide accurate salary ranges that reflect actual compensation.
• Complete domain verification to maintain your employer profile.
• Do not post ghost jobs, misleading listings, or discriminatory requirements.
• Respond to candidate applications in a timely manner.

7. Verification

Verification services are provided by third-party providers. TIERHIRES facilitates the connection but is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party verification results. Verification costs, where applicable, are the responsibility of the user initiating the verification.

8. Subscriptions and Payment

Employer subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscription tiers determine the number of active job listings, recruiter seats, and API access. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period.

9. Prohibited Conduct

• Scraping or automated data collection without authorization
• Attempting to manipulate trust scores or verification results
• Impersonating another person or organization
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Interfering with the operation of the Platform

10. Limitation of Liability

TIERHIRES is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for hiring outcomes, verification accuracy, or losses arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to TIERHIRES in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support.
